Jahaun McKinley: Making the Most  of a Second Chance

Jahaun McKinley is walking proof that Hope Network Industries can provide a fresh start, even for someone whose past includes prison time for a serious felony offense.

Jahaun spent nearly 19 years behind bars, but thanks to Hope Network’s Workforce Development Program and its long-time relationship with Cascade Engineering, he was able to secure employment, enroll in college, and set his sights on a corporate position. Through Hope, he developed new skills that include computer training and an affinity for public speaking. He’s also pitched in on several workshops that tout the advantages of hiring ex-offenders like himself.
