Animal Assisted Therapy

Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) is a form of therapy that plays on the human-animal bond. In addition to the calming effect an animal can provide, certain activities can dramatically impact a person’s wellbeing when expertly coordinated.

Animal Assisted Therapy is a proven therapeutic method that can have measurable mental and physical benefits.

The animal’s non-judgmental character is a key component in moving the client toward reaching their individualized emotional, social, and behavioral goals.

Conditions that respond well to AAT include
